Spooky festive tales hark back to Victorian times, and the tradition moved from the pages of books to television screens when the BBC launched A Ghost Story for Christmas in 1971. While it doesn’t feel particularly festive as Attitude visits the set of this year’s offering, The Dead Room —it’s the middle of that long, hot summer — things are very spooky indeed.
