Welcome to our Winter issue of Autostrada,
Here in Toronto the first snowflakes have begun to fall and the majority of our friends have carefully stored their vehicles for the upcoming winter months. 2022 has shown the return of large scale events and some type of normality after the last few years. It’s been great to see so many of our long time friends, readers and partners at our Autostrada Track Days throughout the year.
Our cover feature for this issue is Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. Before leading Lamborghini into an uncharted and unknowable electric future, Winkelmann used to lead soldiers out of airplanes. We had the chance to sit down together at Ricardo Tormo racetrack, where Lamborghini was launching the new, rear-drive Huracan Tecnica. Winkelmann is no ordinary auto-industry exec. Read about his passion, history and journey in the fantastic article by our talented contributor Matt Bubbers.
As the year comes to a close we were fortunate to host our 5th annual Autostrada Christmas Toy Drive at Hagerty Garage + Social in early December. We are so incredibly thankful to everyone who took the time to donate to those in need during the holiday season, we are so fortunate to be part of such a supportive automotive community.
We are also excited to announce that the Canadian International Auto Show will be returning to an in person show in February of 2023! We are looking forward to partnering with the CIAS team to bring several of our friend’s beautiful vehicles to display in Auto Exotica. Please make sure to make the trip down to the show and come and see us, we’ll have the coffee and our famous Autostrada cookies waiting.
We wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday season!
See you in March,

Lucas & Sean
