Welcome... to the last issue issue of 2019! We are now in full flow of the festivities, enjoying all of the extra edible glitter and sprinkles this time of the year brings! One of my absolute favourites this issue is Emma Stewart’s design on page
28 – three techniques but each so simple to emulate! Metallic painting using a template, sugar berries and leaves, and making a wood effect – all so beautiful and on trend too!
Throughout this edition we’ve taken a look at techniques we think are going to see you through not only the festive season but into the winter months next year, with Julie Rogerson’s steps on making the perfect knitted effect on page 36 (such a sweet penguin too!) along with Sarah Lou Smith’s advice on airbrushing in blue for an ombre look – which can be adapted for any colour – plus many more too!
