KINTYRE’S public toilets are safe as Argyll and Bute council, flush with cash, boosted roads spending across the region by £15m.
A three per cent rise in council tax will help the council’s spending plans.
A one-off additional payment of £18,000 was agreed for Kintyre Recycling Limited, the Road Safety Unit saved, £8.3m for its road network across two years and a further £500,000 in footpaths.
