What irony! A few days after Argyll and Bute council planning committee’s very sad and disturbing agreement to permit Marine Harvest (MH) to impose a huge wrasse farm at the Gauldrons/ Uisead Point, with five enormous buildings on the lovely unspoilt rural area, MH announces it will cut 34 jobs.

One of the points that our councillors made about the proposed wrasse farm at the Gauldrons/Uisead Point was that it would inject much needed jobs in the Campbeltown area.
