Private William Cook

INTIMATION has been received that Private William Cook, of the 6th Durham Light Infantry, son of Mr and Mrs George Cook, North Shore Street, was killed in action in France on 24th January.

Private Cook was killed by the explosion of an enemy shell, death being instantaneous.
