CAMPBELTOWN Picture House will have the last laugh as it uses money granted by Regional Screen Scotland’s Local Film Festival Challenge Fund to launch its own Scottish Comedy Film Festival (SCOFF).
The inaugural festival, set to take place in the restored cinema in May, will draw on the heritage of comedy in lm and include vintage and contemporary comedy, shorts and animation, workshops and live events.
A launch event to celebrate the festival’s inauguration will be held on January 27 at 7.30pm, and will feature a line-up of award-winning live comedy.
