FOREIGN Secretary Boris Johnson said in parliament: ‘We will leave no stone unturned’ to bring the six exarmy men, dubbed the Chennai six and held in an Indian prison, back to Britain.
Mr Johnson spoke after it was revealed that Prime Minister Theresa May raised the plight of Campbeltowneducated ex-paratrooper Billy Irving with the Indian premier Narendra Modi at last weekend’s G20 summit.
Billy’s fiancée, Yvonne Mac- Hugh said: ‘I just want this nightmare to be over. I want to marry the man I love. I want my son to have a father. I want all 35 families to be reunited and I want justice to prevail.’
