The ‘cat’ Aragorn lives on


I was delighted to read last week’s ‘From Our Files’.

Barrie Gelder was a dear friend and a significant influence in my life.

Talking with him shaped my view of context - of our place within the natural world around us as well as our position on the timeline of historical and political events, all of which combine to form our present reality.

If I’m honest, I still can’t quite believe he’s gone.
