Campbeltonians split on UK decision to bomb Syria

The people of Campbeltown are unsure whether or not they support the British Government’s decision to launch bomb and missile strikes on Syria last Saturday.

The joint action with France and the USA was in response to a suspected chemical attack in the Syrian town of Douma, by president Bashar al-Assad’s regime, an attack the Syrian government denies.

A military facility, where it is believed stockpiles of materials used to make chemical weapons were located, was the target.
