KINTYRE voters and the electorate round Britain face a general election two years after a convincing Tory win.
News of the June 8 vote was announced on Tuesday morning by Prime Minister Theresa May. The election will see Scottish voters at the polls for the sixth time since September 2014. In South Kintyre, it will be the fifth vote as the three council seats in the May 4 poll are uncontested.
