A POP-UP bar with no name helped create a barrel of fun at Carradale harbour day last Saturday.

Courier advertising executive Maurice Whelan, Dom Ryan and Douglas Petrie voluntarily manned the real ale pumps and held a namethe- bar competition.

The Carradale Harbour Enterprises Ltd (CHEL) fundraiser, held in sunny weather despite a forecast predicting showers, was not all about food and drink and youngsters were able to launch a boat as well as try their hand at crazy golf.

CHEL raised about £1,000 which chairman Alan Milstead said might help subsidise more than 30 per cent of yacht owners who use its buoys but fail to pay the £10 nightly mooring fee.
