DALINTOBER’S primary four class laced up their hiking boots to tackle Kintyre’s highest peak.
As part of their forest topic, the class were escorted up Beinn Ghuilean by wildlife ranger Kevin McKillop and beat ranger Barry Bruce.
They told pupils about their various jobs in the forest, while the children took photographs and used their binoculars and compasses to find different locations. Kevin explained to the class about different animals in the forest and how he looked after them, as well as various ways he protected trees from damage.
