The new Campbeltown Grammar School, which opened in February.
STUDENTS at Campbeltown’s ‘new super school’ will get the results they need – but miracles don’t happen overnight, says Argyll and Bute education chief Yvonne McNeilly. Last week’s Campbeltown Courier reported an Education Scotland inspection of the town’s grammar school found it could do better.
The inspection, just before the school’s move to new premises in February, praised some initiatives but also identified some weaknesses, including the level of challenges pitched to students often being too low.
