Mother keeps memory of daughter alive with fundraising hike ory of daughter alive

‘The walk gives me purpose, something to concentrate on and escape from reality’

SOME people would say walking 6,000 miles around the UK would be hard.

Not Natalia Spencer. For her, hard is waking up every day and knowing she will not be able to see her ‘beautiful’ little girl again.

Natalia’s marathon fundraising journey, which passed through Kintyre last weekend and on Monday, is helping her come to terms with the loss of her five-year-old daughter Elizabeth.

She revealed: ‘The difficulty is living without your child every day. Walking is hard, but that is the hardest part.’
