DUNAVERTY Golf Club members almost needed lifejackets as their RNLI stableford competition was nearly a washout.
Held last Saturday and open to male and female members, in the morning ballot heavy showers and strong winds meant only three intrepid men braved the elements.
Their courage was not rewarded, with two returning on 34 points and the third not wishing to comment on his round.
