Windpower wizard’s special energy magic

THE YOUNGEST person working at senior management level at CS Wind has blown away the competition to pick up a top accolade at a national renewable energy industry awards ceremony.

Julie Blue, 28, who started working at the turbine manufacturing plant a decade ago and is now the company’s quality manager, won the Judges Award at the prestigious 2017 Young Professionals Green Energy Awards.

She travelled to Glasgow Science Centre for the glamorous awards presentation recently and received the honour which the judging panel of green energy industry leaders felt merited special commendation.
