KEEP YOUR CITIES OPEN TO CLASSICS
The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) says that it will
fight for classic car exemption across the 33 local authorities that have been ordered by the High Court to introduce new measures to tackle air quality. The local authorities targeted, out of a total of forty five, are ones that will breach EU limits for nitrogen dioxide levels after the 2021 deadline. This could mean more towns and cities introducing things like Clean Air Zones or bans on internal combustion engines. The thirty three locations include places such as Oxford, Bournemouth and Cheltenham.
