TARA P-T: ‘At 44 I’m done with plastic surgery!’

Socialite and TV star Tara Palmer-Tomkinson on how she ’s a changed woman and why she’s not worried about being eternally single

She was the original It girl, but now Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has reinvented herself by taking on the fashion world – and tells Closer she’s finally moved on from her wild past.

Tara – goddaughter to Prince Charles – found fame for her party lifestyle in the ’90s which led to a reported £400-a-day cocaine habit and a need for plastic surgery on her nasal septum. But since going to rehab in 1999, the 44-year-old insists she’s turned her life around, staying sober and finding success in reality shows like I’m A Celeb! and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.
