Dirt Action  |  Issue#200 Jan 2016
Two hundred issues! This issue we contacted all the previous editors and asked them to pen some thoughts on their time at Dirt Action. It’s interesting to see how different we’ve all been and how we’ve seen the magazine’s place in the industry.
The bikes of today are nothing like those of 1998 and we can all be thankful for that. I’d rather saddle up on a 500 EXC-F than a TT600 and I’m sure as hell happy we get to ride the WR250F instead of the XR250. Having said that, there’s a heap of gear from 1998 that stands the test of time; Jeremy McGrath’s yellow Fox kit is still mint and so is some of the Sinisalo of that era.
OK, so this might be our 200th but we’re not going to spend the whole time congratulating ourselves and looking backwards. This issue has a heap of fresh content mixed with a bit of nostalgia but by far the coolest thing we could ever do, was to reprint the very first issue of DIRT ACTION! Make sure to watch out for the special issue available in-app.
