Beyond the TARDIS

A round-up of what the cast and crew of Doctor Who have been up to away from the series…

Peter Capaldi, who was a Graham Norton Show guest on 14 April, told The Sunday Times’ Lynn Barber (2 April), “I don’t really want to do another political thing. I’ve done enough of that, being a man in a suit shouting at other men in suits. I want to do something different, with a big wig. I want to get dressed up!” There were Doctor Who promotional appearances on 12 April from Steven Moffat on Breakfast (tinyurl.com/MoffFast) and Marie Claire magazine’s Girl of the Moment, Pearl Mackie, on The One Show (tinyurl.com/OnePearl) with Pearl also on Good Morning Britain the day following (tinyurl.com/GoodPearl). Steven will be at Gloucestershire’s Fairford Festival of Fiction on 3 June organised by Paul Cornell (tickets via tinyurl.com/FairMoff).
