Building a dream in miniature

A visit to the Cotswolds on her wedding anniversary inspired Japanese artist Mikako Nishi to create this beautiful house with stonework reflecting the honey-coloured limestone of the area BY MIKAKO NISHI

Ibuilt The Cotswolds House throughout 2016 and 2017 after I went on a trip with my husband to England and France to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. There were many other purposes of the trip, such as going to the Kensington Dollshouse Festival, and visiting the Cotswolds region, which I deeply admire.
