Discover Evidentree

Evidentree is a new, free site, created to help you get in touch with genealogists researching the same names and places as you. Helen Barrell spoke to Greg Scowen, Evidentree’s creator, to find out more

The spark for creating Evidentree came from a genealogy Facebook group that Greg (pictured) helps to run: ‘The admins were struggling to manage lists of users’ research interests; names and places. The process was cumbersome enough for the admins, let alone the users. So users posted repeated and duplicate requests that probably weren’t being seen by the right people.’
