Vintage Visionaries

Two best friends own this antiques store full of easy conversation pieces and one-of-a-kind discoveries.

Talking Shop

KELLI DICICCO SIEFKE AND DAWN BOWIE ARE BUSINESS PARTNERS and “two of the best friends in the whole world.” After 40 years of friendship, the duo decided to open an antiques shop in Watsonville, California. Together they are the owners of what they describe as the “fun, accessible and approachable” Carriage House Collectibles and its subsidiary, Two Chicks and a Truck. Kelli and Dawn have always loved collecting antiques, and the two felt blessed to have had an outpouring of support at their store opening early this year. When a benefactor donated a full storage unit of antique goods to aid their launch, says Kelli, “we just couldn’t believe it! I have never felt so secure and so loved by the community.” Kelli and Dawn support charities for cancer, autism and diabetes, among others, noting, “If you give to your community, you will get back tenfold.”
