We were lucky enough to pay a visit to the stunning Carne Golf Links in the west of Ireland, to help celebrate the opening of the course’s third nine holes, and we explain how Carne has helped regenerate one of Ireland’s most remote regions. Plus, though Asia has been golf’s biggest boom region of late, economic and political issues mean that development is moving forward at different rates across the continent: we look at the major Asian markets to explain why. On top of that, a look at why Royal Dublin GC in Ireland has some of the best links roughs anywhere, and our usual wide-ranging survey of the golf design and development scene.
