Nutrition editor Amanda Ursell says: The low- FODMAP diet tests the effects of carbohydrates that contain Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Di-saccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols (known as FODMAPS) on IBS symptoms. These recipes are safe for anyone, but you’ll need to consult a trained dietitian before following an exclusively low-FODMAP diet
