WEEKEND WARRIORS CAN STILL CUT DISEASE RISK
If you only get time to exercise at the weekend, don’t despair – it can still make a big difference. It’s recommended that we all do 150 minutes of moderate (or 75 minutes of vigorous) aerobic exercise a week for good health, and cramming it all into two weekend sessions is still enough to reduce your risk of early death by one-third. These were the findings of a study by Loughborough University and the University of Sydney.
