While it’s normally Instagram-blinkered teens who get the bad press for too much screen time, it turns out parents are just as guilty – and it could be affecting children’s behaviour. In a US study, almost half of parents said technology interrupted time spent with their children three or more times a day, and this correlated with increased behaviour issues in children including hyperactivity and sulking. Try imposing a screen ban during quality time, and reap the benefits of a quieter, tantrum-free life.
