You don’t need meat to sustain your energy – try these proteinpacked, plant-based meals instead

Using peas, which contain 13 per cent protein, instead of chickpeas for falafel means they’re easier to digest. If you want to start your kids on eating green things, or add more into your own diet, these are great, full of flavour and good-for-you greens! The key to an authentic tabbouleh is to chop the ingredients (particularly the parsley) as finely as possible.
