Agatha Raisin
SKY 1, 9PM
The great thing about detective series Agatha Raisin is it highlights that EVERYTHING is dangerous: quiches, rambling associations and now mineral water springs. There’s peril lurking around every nicey-nicey corner, so beware. There’s a disproportionately high body count in the countryside, so any rural aficionados should proceed with caution. In this ep, part-time sleuth Agatha is persuaded to take on the PR for a water company set to hit the big time, thanks to the Carsley spring. But locals aren’t convinced that privatising the spring is in the village’s best interests. While they’re merrily quarrelling away, the parish council chairman and holder of the deciding vote on the issue is found dead in the spring. That can’t be good for business, not least for the reckless contamination of it all. Double danger right there.
