BERRY BLUES

I had planned to email last summer regarding my blueberries. The first few photos are from last year and show a bush which was full of fruit which withered and died. I did lose two plants last year. We have extended it this spring and planted four new plants, all the same variety but one of them looks like it is dying and the pink blueberries at the other end don’t look too healthy. They are planted into ericaceous soil and then topped with cuttings from my conifers to serve as a mulch and keep the soil acidic. The healthy plants give lots of fruit but I can’t understand why some are dying.
