Johnny Marr is right that The Cribs’ album he was a band member for is due a reissue. He joined the Jarman brothers after meeting bassist Ross in Portland, Oregon, where Ross had moved withhis wife and Johnny’s then-band Modest Mouse were based. Guesting on The Cribs’ 2008 tour, when they began work on Ignore The Ignorant, Johnny leftModest Mouse to become a full-time Crib.
Ignore The Ignorant hasn’t been reissued since its initial limited vinyl run on Wichita in 2009. It currently goes for L45. Two 7” singles were released from the album. Cheat On Me was released in two different formats in August 2009. A clear vinyl 7” backed by a live version of We Were Aborted fetches around L10, while a posterbag edition featuring new B-side So Hot Now is L12. Second single We Share
