What's your favourite digital magazine?
F1 Racing

Why do you love F1 Racing magazine?
Having followed F1 since the moment I could walk and talk I feel I’m pretty well placed to know whether I’m reading a decent F1 magazine or not and I can wholeheartedly say F1 Racing really is the best F1 magazine out there. It’s got tonnes of interviews with drivers, team bosses and F1 directors which you wouldn’t get anywhere else!

Any other stand out features?
If you’re a petrol head like me, the imagery of cars battling on track, kicking up tyre smoke and flaming exhausts used throughout the magazine will also get your pulse racing.

When’s your ideal time to read?
Just before going to bed. Cars and racing is something that weirdly relaxes me. It’s a great form of escapism.

What's been your favourite F1 Racing cover?
The May 2013 cover of Sebastian Vettel morphed with Darth Vader sticks in the mind. It does a great job of showing the ‘dark side of Vettel’ – something we’ve once again seen this season. Unlike most I actually enjoy seeing this side of the drivers – by trade F1 drivers aren’t Angels and they’d be in the wrong job if they weren’t ruthless, steely, competitive winning machines (or they’d at least never get to the pinnacle of F1). Senna and Schumacher had a ruthless side, Vettel is just the next of that type – someone who constantly challenges conventions and rules.
