LG HAS a range of monitors called UltraGear, aimed directly at gamers, and it has announced a new flagship model, the 45-inch 45GR95QE. Big, and now, for the first time, curved with an 800mm radius, so your head won’t be far away from the action, it features the world’s first 240Hz OLED panel, exclusive to LG. This has a resolution of 3,440x1,440, a fast response of 0.03ms, and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, thanks to the OLED panel, meaning you get proper blacks. There’s an anti-glare coating to limit any annoying reflections. Connection is via Display Port 1.4, and a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports. There’s also a USB 3.0 hub and a headphone jack. It has a typical DCI-P3 of 98.5 percent (the color space), so you’ll get a rich range of colors ideal for HDR content.
