Here we have it folks, the last of Intel’s 14th generation of processors: the Core i7-14700K. When we got hands-on with this sweet little number, we knew we had to do something a little more exciting than just your traditional review and build combo, so this time around we had one simple question to ask. With how aggressive Intel has been (and AMD, for that matter) with its voltage and clock-speed ramping over the last few generations, just how much cooling can you get away with for a top-tier processor on the latest platforms? Could you theoretically do away with a liquid cooler entirely, instead opting for something a little sleeker, a little smaller, and a little Noctua? That’s exactly what we’re here to find out.
