Strange Buildup in Tubes
To Whom It May Concern: As with a letter from a reader in your previous issue, I am also incarcerated in MDOC. Though, I'm not sure if we are in the same "M" state. I'm having a third party email this to you for me instead of writing a letter, and appreciate any feedback you can provide.
A couple of years before my arrest in 2014, I built a liquid-cooled PC. I was one of the first people to get a new coolant to test from Mike at Mayhems. It was their new Pastel UV Lime Yellow coolant. And while I loved the color with and without my UV lights on, I kept having the same issue with my tubing. I kept having a strange buildup collecting in my tubes and reservoir even after a vinegar solution flush, a baking soda solution flush, two distilled water flushes, and a rebuild that switched from Primochill Advanced LRT tubing to Primochill Clear Acrylic tubing.
I was in talks with Mike at Mayhems on Overclock. net to try to duplicate the issue on his end when I was arrested. Sadly, I was never able to figure out the problem. Though, we did think it may have been because of the type of UV lights I was using.
My build logs can be found at Overc under the username "Stuntfly02." Could you maybe contact Mike and see if he remembers me and was ever able to figure out what the issue was? It will be another six years until I am able to get back out there and be able to look into things myself. I would appreciate a reply sent to me at the email address below.
