The cheapest of the Asus Strix family for the AM5 socket, the Asus ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi isn’t exactly a bargain, especially for a B650 rather than X670E board. But the B650 chipset still supports the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 chips, DDR5 and PCie 5.0. It’s no slouch. You also get Wi-Fi 6E and an antennae, nifty clip-down M.2 slots that don’t require screws, plenty of ports on the back panel, and nice build quality. Silly gaming-inspired logos dotted about the board aside, there’s very little not to like.
