Endurance Needs

You know protein is paramount for size and strength, but new research published in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise suggests a higher protein intake could also give endurance athletes an edge. Their findings showed that a higher protein intake not only allowed more protein to be retained to support recovery from exercise, but also that the runners tested were generally stronger and faster over a 5km time trial.
