What do you think about when running? More specifically, what do you think about on one of your longer runs?

If you’re anything like me, your mind flits initially. Mundane stuff really, mostly remembering things you meant to do, until, at some point, you cease to really think about anything. Or at least anything specific. It’s not that you’re aware of this nothing immediately. You’re just bobbing along. And you’re happy. You’re really happy in the moment. You’re not planning what to do later, or reflecting on what you did. You are running along, happily (and, in my case, pretty slowly).
