Unite-MHNA has provided an oicial response to the Department of Health and Social Care consultation on the regulation of nursing associates in England.
The submission argued that regulation on a separate part of the register seems appropriate, and would help to provide clarity for employers, professionals and the public.
The submission stated that a range of titles are already being used, for example, ‘nurse associate’, ‘associate nurse’ and ‘nurse’, causing confusion.
