The trustees of the Community Psychiatric Nurses Association (1994) have taken the decision that the charity will close in July 2024.
Originally set up with monies from the original CPNA, which was itself a registered charity, the trust has been supporting mental health nurses and community projects valued by mental health nurses, through applications by or supported by registered nurses.
When the CPNA joined the union MSF (now Unite), the union helped establish the trust because it was unable to hold charitable funds that had been amassed over the years.
