"This issue includes a Full-Size Complimentary Free Plan worth £12.50 for Vivace. This plan has been drawn by Glynn Guest and makes for an unusual and interesting semi-scale radio control water-jet driven model project for a customs style patrol launch, which also gives much scope for being personalised as the builder wishes.
In addition, John Edwards builds and describes his excellent 1:72 scale model of HMS Sharpshooter, a Halcyon class WW2 minesweeper constructed from original plans together with in-depth research. We also welcome back Dave Petts with Part Two (of three) for his HMS Bounty radio controlled square-rigged Scale Sail project, a model that sails really well.
There is a comprehensive report by Dave Wooley from the Ellesmere Port MBC Spring Show at the National Waterways Museum. This event is regarded by many as the UK season opener and the host club work very hard at making it a great success. In Readers' Models, Simon Kidd describes his vintage 50 year old Fairey Huntsman model, now reconstructed and rejuvenated with modern brushless motor drive and Victor Marcham shares with us his Candy and Kate models. We of course also have all the usual regular articles and more, so I hope there is something for everyone here in these pages.
