IT’S A GOOD bet most humans will someday be at least part cyborg, and Zhenan Bao, a professor of chemical engineering at Stanford University, wants to have some skin in the game. Bao is working on an artificial epidermis that could improve the life of people with prosthetic limbs or skin grafts and make it so people won’t have to take of their wearable fitness trackers.
