Ah, it’s October again, the leaves have turned bright colors, the scent of pumpkin spiced everything fills the air, and that guy in the William Shatner mask goes around stickin’ teenagers with a butcher knife…and now there’s a new sign of October, RRParks’ Halloween Trick or Treat cards!
NSU caught up with the busiest man in the hobby—Richard R. Parks, who is working on several new sets coming soon. Parks had this to say about Halloween Trick or Treat Series 7, “My annual Halloween Trick or Treat series are issued as ‘pack sets’ -- meaning each pack holds a complete set of cards. This year the set is 12 different glossy 16pt full color front and back spooky cards of yesteryear.” Parks finds antique images from the early 1900s that are at once both charming and eerie. He then cleans them up, removing creases and spots. The set will come wrapped in a collectible old-school type wrapper.
