ANTI-POVERTY campaigners are calling on Theresa May to turn her words into meaningful action following yesterday’s speech about a ‘shared society’.
In her speech, the Prime Minister highlighted the responsibilities we have to one another and the need to build a fairer country.
The Poverty Alliance believes that these are values that have been eroded by the current UK government – especially as a result of welfare cuts – and are calling for Mrs May to ensure that her government’s actions reflect her words.
