ROTHESAY could benefit from a tourism and jobs boost after raising £14 million to restore the town’s pavilion.
The re-vamped building is expected to attract more than 70,000 visitors a year and bring in 30 new jobs.
The contract is expected to be awarded later this autumn, with work scheduled to begin before Christmas. It is hoped the restoration will be finished by July 2019.
