Archibald MacAlister and his two sons from Campbeltown giving a demonstration of whisky making after they had been caught producing it illegally. One son spent nine months in jail for assaulting an Islay exciseman. He died in 1911 at the age of 98 as the result of falling down a flight of steps coming out of church.
