THE MOST important ingredient of a successful panto is ensuring the show has plenty of laughs and students from West Highland College UHI certainly did that at the Nevis Centre on Friday night.
Alice in Pantoland was the title of this classic show, which brought the house down thanks to the brilliant efforts of the college’s Skills for Learning Students.
The evening’s entertainment raised £911 from ticket sales and a raffle, which is being donated to the British Red Cross. Lecturer Geoff Wright told the Lochaber Times the link between the students and the Red Cross came about last year when students from the Fort William campus travelled to Glasgow to meet with refugees and asylum seekers.
