THE TRADITIONAL Music and Song Association of Scotland will present the finalists of the 2016 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the year award at the Nevis Centre on Wednesday June 7.
The tour visits the home town of each finalist, Fort William being home to fiddler Hanna MacRae. Moshen Amini, concertina and 2016 winner, Claire Hastings, voice and 2015 winner, Murray Willis, accordion, Jessica Burton, clarsach, Ryan Young, fiddle, and Robbie Greig, fiddle, will also perform, accompanied by Jean Damei. Doors open at 7.30pm.
A RACE night and raffle in aid of Caol-based Lochaber Sensory Care will take place tomorrow (Friday May 19) in the Volunteer Arms, Fort William, at 7.30pm.
