SKYE’S The Three Chimneys started its season in spectacular style with a trio of awards at the inaugural Scottish Food Awards.
The remote island restaurant was awarded a gold medal for real and local food and the Restaurant with Rooms of the Year award. It also collected a Geographical Food Destination award for the Isle of Skye as a whole, which certifies the region’s worldwide status for dishes that represent the incredible variety of the island’s natural larder.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony and dinner at The Principal, Edinburgh, on Sunday May 7.
